After the foul images of Barcelona fans insulting Frenkie De Jong, pushed out by Barça, when he arrived at training, another player is the victim of the stupidity of the fans.

This is OM's Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman, who posted several insulting and threatening messages on Instagram on Friday from fans who wanted him to leave the club.

“Always nice to open private messages,” Strootman wrote in one of his stories, illustrating several insulting messages received in private.

“Better and better”, “And it continues”, he added, showing other messages, some of which are threatening against his partner and his children.

Horrible.@Kevin_strootman is currently receiving disgusting messages from some supporters.

It is absolutely shameful and essential to denounce these disgusting behaviors.

OM condemns these attacks and supports its player

Aged 32, Strootman arrived at OM in 2018, under the orders of Rudi Garcia, from AS Roma.

The transfer had been expensive (more than 25 million euros) and the Dutchman has a very high salary in Marseille.

But several injuries dating from his stay in Rome have limited his abilities and, it must be said, his performance has been generally disappointing since his arrival at OM.

The former Louve player has been on loan for the past two seasons, to Genoa and then to Cagliari, but his salary continues to weigh on OM's finances as he trains away from the group led by Igor You sleep.

At the club, it is known that these messages are "totally condemned" and that Strootman, who has one year left on his contract, is still a very good professional who continues to train very diligently and very regularly.

OM is in contact with several clubs in order to find a solution that suits all parties.
