He added: “My participation in the UAE Cycling Championship was one of my highlights this season. After winning the road racing title 11 times in the past, I was determined to achieve my twelfth victory. I started the championship with a race against time, and although I am not a specialist in this type of racing, I am I managed to set a new national average speed record, in addition to breaking my previous record, with an average speed of 48.6 km on the 35 km track, I was very satisfied with my performance in this race that paved the way for me to the road race.”

Regarding the nature of his program in the month of Ramadan, he said: “For me, the month of Ramadan is one of the most important periods of the year, both from a personal and sporting perspective. Precious family time, and nothing is dearer to my heart than meeting with my family, spending time with my children, to teach them the reasons for fasting and its importance.”

He added: “Exercising during Ramadan helps me stay on the right track, although exercising during fasting is more difficult, but it is necessary to maintain my physical fitness level, to ensure that I am able to compete immediately after Ramadan ends, so I train from three To four hours a day during Ramadan, and I ride my bike for about 100 km per trip, that is, about 600 km per week.”
