Manchester City player Benjamin Mendy has been shown distributing food to children on the street after his long disappearance due to his judicial troubles and being tried in cases related to rape and sexual assault.

A user of Tik Tok posted a video clip showing Mindy next to a branch of a major supermarket chain in Britain.

Mindy was pulling a shopping cart loaded with different foods, and started talking to the children who had gathered around him, before telling them that the purchases were theirs.

According to user comments on the clip, Mindy was already found on Friday afternoon at the site, and people took memorial photos with him, before he went out and distributed food to the children.

It is noteworthy that Mindy is facing legal prosecutions on charges of 10 sexual crimes, including 7 charges of sexual rape, in addition to 3 charges of sexual assault.

All charges came between late 2020 and August 2021, and Mindy was first arrested with another defendant on August 26 last year.

Mindy spent 134 days in pretrial detention, and on January 7, he benefited from a conditional release, with strict judicial supervision.

Mendy played 50 games with Manchester City since joining from Monaco for about 60 million euros in 2017, before the club that holds the English Premier League title suspended him, after the accusations against the French player were announced.
