Ammar bin Humaid crowned the "Municipality and Planning" with the Government Departments Cup in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised the great and distinguished support that various sports and community events and activities enjoy from our wise leadership, believing in the importance of sports and its important role in promoting the spirit of cooperation and positive competition among all segments of society and investing sports and recreational activities in Embodying the unity of cohesion among all segments of society.
This came while His Highness attended the conclusion of the football competitions within the Ajman Sports Tournament, which is organized by the Human Resources Department of the Ajman Government in cooperation with the Quattro Sports Center.
His Highness crowned the Municipality and Planning Department team as the champion of the Ajman Sports Tournament, after its great victory over the Ajman University team by five goals to one in the meeting that was held at the Quattro Sports Center stadium within the final round of the tournament competitions held under the generous sponsorship of His Highness, so that the municipality and planning maintain this achievement on His title, which he won in the first edition in 2019.
The coronation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Tourism Development Department, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department, President of the Emirates Football Association, and a number of directors of government departments and institutions in addition to the heads of the sponsoring companies for the course.
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said that the second edition of the Ajman tournament in the football championship, the padel tennis championship, and the women's fitness program, embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman for the great goals of sports in consolidating community participation and spreading awareness. Sports culture for all groups, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
His Highness said that the second edition of the tournament was more developed, successful, and the widest participation by departments and institutions in Ajman, and the interaction of the public, and confirmed that our society had overcome the "Corona" pandemic, and achieved its goals as one of the distinguished Ramadan events in Ajman.
In the individual awards category, Youssef Safi was chosen as the best player in the tournament, Issam Alaa won the tournament’s top scorer award, Khaled Nour won the best goalkeeper award, David Zaki was the best defender, Muhammad Al-Nuaimi was the best midfielder, Sultan Al-Wahshi was the best coach, and Sami Al-Hamour won the best manager. Ajman University won the ideal team award, while the General Directorate of Civil Defense won the award for the best government agency that interacted with the events.
