Anthony Elanga, 19, has gone from strength to strength during the winter and poked balls into both the Premier League and the Champions League.

A breakthrough that meant that there was a tug-of-war over the talent between the Swedish, Cameroon and England national teams when Elanga was born in Sweden, has a father from Cameroon and has lived in England since the age of twelve.

With Janne Andersson's selection of the talent for the playoff match against the Czech Republic on Thursday, the discussion feels settled - but Elanga still needs playing time to be completely ready for the Swedish national team.

However, Andersson does not take this into account when drawing up tactics for the meeting with the Czech Republic.

- I do not reason in that way, he has said so clearly that it is the Swedish national team that applies to 100 percent, so I will not replace him for that matter but I trust what he has said, says Janne Andersson.

On the other hand, Elanga is highly relevant for a jump-in.

- If, for example, you were to chase a goal, you could bring in a player who is constructive as he is, or should you perhaps lie down and defend and have a counterattack player, he is not so crazy there either.

We have several players who have this type of qualities that he has, since he would play from the start, I can probably say that he will not do that if nothing very special happens.

We will see on Thursday quite simply, he is in the squad and can definitely jump in, absolutely, says Janne.
