The Dubai Annual Forum of Equestrian Partners kicks off tomorrow at Meydan with one of the season's biggest shows for horses

The work of the second session of the second annual Dubai Forum for Equestrian Partners will start at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai tomorrow, in one of the biggest shows of the season, confirming Dubai’s leading position in the growing world of horse sports in the region. Which constitutes one of the most important events of the Dubai World Cup carnival.

With the completion of the preparations for the second session of the forum, Sheikh Rashid bin Dalmouk bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Racing Club, said: "Dubai continues with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. God, to consolidate its position as a major center for the horse industry in the region and the world, as evidenced by the great demand for participation in the second session of the forum, attracting the most important authorities concerned with horses in the world, led by the Dubai Racing Club and the Dubai Equestrian Club, while this industry is witnessing a steady growth While its size is currently estimated at about 400 million dollars, which is equivalent to about 1.47 billion dirhams.  

He added: "We are pleased to see the rapid progress achieved by the Forum in its second session, following the great success achieved in its last session, which motivates us to launch more initiatives in support of the horse industry at all local, regional and international levels, to provide more opportunities for the development and prosperity of horse sports and industry. And preparing the atmosphere for more constructive interaction between the various parties concerned with it globally.” 

Discussing the promising future opportunities for this industry will top the agenda of the forum, in which representatives of more than 250 stables, 350 buyers and 75 suppliers will be present. To win more than 250 prizes.

The Dubai Racing Club had previously announced the update of the 2021-2022 season’s racing calendar, which will include the “Jumeirah Race Series” within the Dubai World Cup Carnival, consisting of four classic races on the grass track, in addition to a race that was added to the “Super Saturday” evening. The new races helped raise the total prize money for the racing season to more than $40 million.

The forum is characterized by its comprehensiveness, as it includes all the elements related to the horse industry. The participating exhibitors from the region and the world will present their latest technologies and innovations in the horse industry, including feed and nutrition products, flooring products, preparations and veterinary services, stable technologies and other various components related to horses.

It is noteworthy that the Dubai Horse Partners Forum is organized in partnership between the Dubai Racing Club and the Dubai Equestrian Club, the two most prominent horse-related parties in the Middle East, and its activities are held at Meydan Racecourse, the largest of its kind in the region.
