Pittsburgh took a 2-0 lead in the first period after goals from Brian Dumoulin and Kasper Kapanen.

Swedish hill Marcus Pettersson assisted to the other.

A Swede also suited Dallas' reduction at the end of the second period.

Rookie Jacob Peterson found Denis Gurianov who made it 2-1.

Pittsburgh still looked to be heading for the eleventh victory in a row, but then the Dallas goal scorers stepped forward.

First put veteran Joe Pavelski and then Finn Roope Hintz poked his 13th of the season.

Hintz's goal then became the winning goal.

Dallas now has four straight wins in the NHL and is now just two points from the playoffs.

The team's Swedish back star John Klingberg is said to have recently asked to be traded.
