The Russian lost 23 seconds to the winner of the race, Johannes Klebo.
Silver medal was won by Iivo Niskanen (+20.8) from Finland.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Natalya Nepryaeva won the gold medal in the 10 km mass start in the classical style at the Tour de Ski stage in Val di Fiemme (Italy).
