Anastasia Kuleshova won a landslide victory in the time trial race in the final of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing. She won more than 13 seconds from the leader of the overall standings, Veronika Stepanova.
Elizaveta Pantrina beat Lidiya Gorbunova at the finish line in the fight for bronze. Alexander Bolshunov won again among the men, but Savely Korostelev imposed serious competition on him. Among the men Andrei Andrei showed best result from the first fifty athletes, but when the strongest got involved he was pushed aside.
