The premiere weekend in Östersund meant a sprint victory for Hanna Öberg.

Just a few days later, in the same place and distance, it was Sister Elvira who would excel and pinch a podium.

The duo were ahead of today's favorites among the Swedes in advance.

It was also Elvira who, with start number eleven, was first out of the Swedes.

But it was not her day.

Elvira entered the shooting range six seconds ahead of Anais Chevalier-Bouchet.

She fully scored in the horizontal shot and thus took the lead by 20 seconds - but only for a short while.

Hanna Sola stepped in front after the first shot and was 2.8 seconds ahead of Elvira.

It then got worse for Elvira, who shot away completely in the standing shooter and blocked three.

Sola, on the other hand, continued on the paved road and shot both quickly and fully even in standing.

When Hanna Öberg entered the shooting range, there was not really any success there either.

She missed two and ended up far behind.

There will thus be no podium for any of the sisters.

Sola is currently in the lead.

What the final placements will be for the Swedes has not yet been determined.

The competition is ongoing.
