Egypt grabbed the top of Group D from Algeria after two colored cards at the last minute, despite the 1-1 draw in an exciting summit in the Arab Football Cup in the South Stadium, amid a large presence of fans today, Tuesday.

Fair play decides the lead for Egypt
But Zakaria Darawi, Algeria's player, received a yellow card, then Yassine Tetraoui was sent off after resorting to the video assistant referee, and the celebrations of thousands of Egyptian fans began because of the two cards.
The two teams have seven points, but Egypt grabbed the top and will play against Jordan in the quarter-finals next Saturday, while Algeria is in an

Defender Mohamed El Amine Toujay scored Algeria's first goal after a deflected shot in the 20th minute, and Amr El Soulia equalized after an hour

Lebanon defeats Sudan
In the other match in Group D, the Lebanese team ended its campaign by defeating its Sudanese counterpart 1-0.
And the Lebanese national team won the victory with an own goal scored by Ali Abu Eshreen by an own goal in the 76th minute.

The two teams ended the match with ten players, after Rabie Ataya, a player for the Lebanese national team, was sent off in the 62nd minute and Sudanese Ahmed Wadah was sent off in the 75th minute.
The Lebanon team achieved its only victory in the tournament, while the Sudan team suffered its third defeat in a row, to collect its first three points and finish its career in third place, while the Sudan team is bottom of the standings without a score.
