Al-Majd Alexandria Club, a competitor in the Egyptian Football League, announced the death of its coach, Adham El Solhdar, the former Ismaili star, of a heart attack during a match for his team today, Thursday.

"Al-Selehdar suffered a heart attack while he was at the team's stadium in Alexandria, after his team scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute against Al-Zarqa in the second division," Mohamed Bahi, the media advisor for Al-Majd Club, told reporters.

Al-Salehdar was taken to a nearby hospital, but he had died.

Al-Salehdar began in the submerged Nile Pharmaceutical Club, and Ismaily included him after his brilliance in a match against him in the Egypt Cup during the end of the eighties of the last century, to begin his brilliance journey with the last generation that achieved championships for the ancient club, which was led by Fawzi Gamal, Ahmed Al-Agouz and goalkeeper Saafan Al-Saghir.

Al-Silahdar effectively contributed to Ismaili winning the Premier League title in the 1990-1991 season and the Egypt Cup in 1997, where he was distinguished by his missile shots.

And he turned to the world of coaching after retiring and worked as an assistant coach for Ismaili on more than one occasion, as he led the technical staff of the team in 2019.
