The Arab Karate Federation honors the Arab champions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics tomorrow in Dubai

 Tomorrow, Sunday, the Arab Karate Federation will hold a ceremony honoring the Arab champions in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), which was held in the Japanese capital earlier this year, in a hotel in Dubai, which will host the World Karate Championship for men and women during the period between 16 and 21 November .

The ceremony honoring the Arab Karate stars will be attended by the Spanish Antonio Spinos, President of the International Karate Federation, Nasser Al-Razouki, President of the UAE and Asian Federations, Vice-President of the International Federation and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the World Championships, members of the Arab Federation Council and heads of the Arab Karate Federations heading for medals in Tokyo 2020.

The Council of the Arab Karate Federation, headed by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qannas, had approved granting the champion players in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics the Golden Medal of the Federation, as well as a black belt certificate higher than the approved degree for the champions in its national federations.

The honoring includes Egyptian Faryal Ashraf, who won the gold medal for the over 61 kilograms weight, Saudi Tariq Hamdi, who won the silver medal in the over 75 kilograms, Jordanian Abdel Rahman Musatafa, who won the bronze medal for the under 67 kilograms, and Egyptian Gianna Lotfy, who won the bronze medal in the women’s weight category. under 61 kg.

The coaches of the Arab champions in the Olympics will also be honored with the Sports Merit Medal, and the honor will include Egyptian coach Hani Qeshta and Moroccan Mounir Oufkir, coach of the Saudi national team, Egyptian coach Mohamed Abdel-Regal and Egyptian coach Mohamed Ibrahim Salem, coach of the Jordanian team, in addition to honoring the referees participating in the Olympics with the Sports Merit Medal. They are the Kuwaiti Mohammed Al-Sultan, the Moroccan Al-Zaytouni Matiout and the Egyptian Haitham Farouk.
