100 minutes was not enough for Al-Ahly to beat Al-Arabiya

Al-Oruba grabbed a historic point in his first appearance in the ADNOC Professional Football League today, and imposed a positive tie on Al-Ahly youth, with a goal for each of them in the match that brought them together at the opening of the third phase of the competition.

The Knights advanced, first through the Brazilian, Eduardo, "28", then equalized for Al-Arabiya, his player, Ahmed Musa, "39", after which Al-Ahly youth failed to return to progress in the match, which extended for 101 minutes due to the stops of the mouse technique.

The start came weak on the part of Al-Ahly youth, despite the difference in experiences and capabilities, while Arabism appeared better than it was in its previous two matches, against Al-Wahda and Al-Nasr, and tried on more than one occasion to threaten Majed Nasser's goal, to no avail.

But Al-Ahly youth woke up at the 13th minute, when the Brazilian, Gosius, penetrated from the left and distributed a cross to his compatriot, Eduardo, who was at the goal gate.

Then Ahmed Nour returned, and hit a powerful ball from outside the box that bounced off the crossbar to Eduardo, the follower who played it with his head in the hands of the goalkeeper, Ahmed Al Hosani (16).

In the third attempt, Eduardo succeeded in translating Al-Ahly's advantage into a goal, after Muhammad Juma'a hit a ball from outside the box that rebounded from the right post and completed it into the net.

Al-Uruba did not give in to the result and was able to reorganize its ranks thanks to the brilliant Mudan, and the owners of the land were able from the first organized attack to equalize through Ahmed Moussa, who took advantage of a rebound from defender Hamdan Al-Kamali and headed it into the goal, recording the first goal of Al-Uruba in the professional league.

At the beginning of the second half, Majed Nasser managed to save Al-Ahly's youth from a deep embarrassment that almost faced his team, when he faced with great experience, Gianluca's shot, which he played from a fixed kick and the goalkeeper turned it into a corner kick.

Majed Nasser returned to prevent another goal on his team from Ali Madani's shot, which bounced from him to Al-Orouba striker Kingsley Idoh, and saved it again (50).

Al-Ahly youth realized the embarrassment of the situation, so he sought in more than one attempt to regain progress, and the closest opportunities to score were through Gosius, who received a rebound from the defense and the goal was wide open in front of him, but he threw the ball very strangely over the crossbar (78).

And the bar returned to save Al-Orouba from receiving a goal in a fatal time when it blocked Mehdi Qaidi’s shot, ending the confrontation in a positive tie (90).
