The "Hand Union" discusses the draft amended statute today

The Handball Federation will hold, at 3:00 p.m. today, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai, a workshop, which brings it together with representatives of member clubs in the General Assembly, to discuss the draft statute of the Federation, which was amended in accordance with the guide to the governance of sports federations, launched by the General Sports Authority , last June, in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee.

The Secretary-General of the Handball Federation, Nasser Al Hammadi, told "Emirates Today", "The workshop with representatives of the General Assembly aims to discuss the draft statute, which was amended by a five-year committee in the Federation, in line with the guide to governance of sports federations."

He explained: “Since last June, the Hand Union approved the establishment of a quinquennial committee, headed by Adnan Faraj, and my membership is for the position of Secretary-General, next to Legal Counsel Tariq Al-Mayar, and the membership of the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Adnan Al-Shamsi, and Faisal Al-Tawash, and it aimed to harmonize the articles of the statute with a governance guide. Sports federations, launched by the General Sports Authority with the Olympic Committee.
