Linn Söderholm ran in second in the 3000 meters.

She broke her personal record and got the time 9.06.04.

She was accompanied by the victorious Belarusian Darya Barysevich with 120 meters left.

Barysevich won on 9.01.80 after having good power left in the race.

The results were quite modest on the rainy tracks in Cluj.

The best globally was the Greek long jumper Miltiadis Tentoglu who won at 8.38.

"A world result"

- It is a world result.

He is not the fastest long jumper but gets the power out of the plank, says SVT's expert Alhaji Jeng.

The Greek himself is world number one with a jump of 8.60 at home in Athens at the end of May.

Tentoglou shook his head as he left the pit.

Montler's best jump was his third where he looked to jump around 8.15 but a trampling of around two centimeters meant that he did not get any results.

The fourth jump was also a long trampling jump, much like the third.

The capacity is there, of course.

It was a different format and the top jumpers were only allowed to make four jumps.

Heavy for Angelica Bengtsson

- Even if we want to take eight meters with us, we must remember that Thobia's tops towards the Olympics and is very well one who can get to the final there, says Jeng.

Angelica Bengtsson had a hard day in the pole vault and finished fourth at 4.45 which she took in the third attempt.

Then she tore herself out at 4.55.

Swiss Angelica Moser won at 4.65.

Due to the pandemic, most countries lacked some of the very best.

Sweden lacked, among others, Daniel Ståhl, Armand Duplantis and Fanny Roos.

The competition continues tomorrow.

Broadcast on SVT Play from 15.00.

To the results.
