Benedikt Doll came second in the mass start at Holmenkollen on Saturday. The 33-year-old had to accept the weakest World Cup result of his career on Friday.
Doll was more than nine minutes behind after seven shooting errors in the individual. The German women had previously disappointed, Sophia Schneider was the best in 18th place when the Swiss Lena Häcki-Groß won the women's event. The mixed competitions are on the program on Sunday at the end of the World Cup.
