The race, the most distinguished in the world of classic and high-speed sports cars, passes the most beautiful landmarks of the country and its seven emirates through its world-class road network, highlighting its unified tourism identity to the world, and allowing people from all over the world to follow all stages of the race along its scheduled course at distinct stations.

The race, which has been held since the end of the first quarter of the last century, enjoys wide press coverage that includes more than 6,000 press reports annually worldwide, and a large number of detailed television and radio reports and follow-ups of the event, which are covered by more than 1,000 media outlets.

Since 1977, the 1,000-mile race has turned into one of the most important races in the world, and it is held regularly over a period of four days, in which cars with a long history participate in speed races and high performance, and the establishment of the race is the presence of the most historical races in the world to the region from the gate of the Emirates, which It includes a collection of the most beautiful and fastest classic cars in the world.
