From the perspective of event organization, the main legal basis for regulating marathon events in my country at this stage is the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Large-scale Mass Events" and some regulations and policy documents of the State Sports General Administration, as well as some documents of the China Athletic Association.
Although the State Sports General Administration has issued some documents to regulate marathon events in the past two years, the level is relatively low and enforcement is not enough. The actual effect remains to be seen.
