Marina Weber-Kollassa took part in the Barkley Marathon in 2022. The 160-kilometer race is considered one of the toughest in the world.

You are not allowed to take a GPS device or cell phone with you during the race. Books are distributed along the route, with cryptic descriptions to find your starting number. The organizer is Gary Cantrell, an old American man who enjoys torturing people, says Weber-kollassA. "He is a runner through and through, there is nothing else for him," she says.
