It was with twelve minutes left of the second half, when Sävehof led 25-17, that Jamina Roberts sent off a pass and at the same time was tackled to the ground by Michaela Fransson.

An angry Roberts shouted at Fransson - words that judges Mirza Kurtagic and Mattias Wetterwik did not like.

"I got a stupid word out of me in the heat of battle," she told Göteborgs-Posten.

The referee first showed the red card followed by a blue one, which meant that the incident was reported.

This is the first time that a Swedish, female handball player has been suspended for uttering an inappropriate word during a match, according to GP.

Sävehof leads the semifinals 2-1 in the best of five matches.
