February 10 was the last time Mattias Ekholm came into play.

The 30-year-old hill has since been missing due to a lower body injury.

When he was back in the match squad on Saturday night, he became the match hero for his Nashville who had a hard time in the NHL this season.

It was visiting Columbus who took the lead in the middle of the first period.

But in the second, Nashville took over.

1-1 came after a minute when Ekholm, assisted by Filip Forsberg sent in a really hard shot in goal.

His first goal of the season.

And the second goal did not wait.

Just before the last break, Ekholm made sure to send in 2-1 on his own.

Today's goal also means that Ekholm has now scored over 200 points in his career.

The result stood out the match and Nashville took an important victory which means that they leave the jumbo place in the Central Division.
