The broadcast

08.45-11.00

This year's Girl's broadcast starts at 08.45 on SVT1 and SVT Play.

The race is led by commentator Niklas Nord and expert Mattias Svahn together with reporter Cecilia Ingman and traveling reporter Ida Ingemarsdotter.

The distance

Tjejvasan runs (this year) from Oxberg to Mora, a distance of 30 kilometers in classic style.

This year's unique conditions

This year, only the elite will be allowed to run the competition.

A maximum of 100 participants are registered and no exercisers.

It looks like it will be very fast before which opens for a record fast Tjejvasan.

It has been hot and rainy this week and now it will be freezing.

- It can be like a rail off, says SVT's commentator Niklas Nord about the data.

New start and finish

For Tjejvasan, the start is moved to Oxberg

It will be a new place for the finish line in the Vasaloppet (due to infrastructure change in Mora) and so also for Tjejvasan.

For Tjejvasan, a finish line awaits at the Zorn Museum instead.

The favorites

In advance, a lot is about the urban battle between the Swedes Britta Johansson Norgren, Lina Korsgren, Jenny Larsson and Ida Dahl.

Four skiers who are found in the cross-country Cup Ski Classics on a daily basis.

- My favorite tip is Lina Korsgren, she has been great in the long distance cup and has been almost unbeatable, says Nord.

- Despite the fact that Lina won, among other things, the Vasaloppet, she has not won the Girl Vasan.

So now it's really time, it feels like.

However, Niklas Nord does not rule out a close fight.

- We do not really know where Britta Johansson stands after the frostbite injuries, but she has been a previous winner so it feels impossible to calculate her.

It would be more surprising if the recently poked national team skier Anna Dyvik barked.

- As it says on the start lists now, Anna Dyvik will drive.

It is always exciting to have long-distance skiers against the regular cross-country team.

She was just outside the national team now for the World Cup and is probably really eager to show what she stands for.
