Already yesterday, Fanny Smith had the chance to take her 27th victory in the World Cup but finished "only" third in the final.

Today she got revenge.

Smith was fastest already in the qualifiers and then impressed in all races.

In the final, she took command immediately and led from start to finish.

She won by far after an almost flawless run.

- Impressive ride.

Where she missed a bit in previous heats, she now puts the landing.

She set went really well from start to finish, says SVT Sports expert Lars Lewén.

"Tough fight"

Frenchwoman Alizée Baron, who won yesterday, finished second and Marielle Thompson, Canada, finished third.

Smith now has 27 victories in the World Cup, which is the most of all female cross-country skiers of all time.

- I'm really happy, it was a tough fight today, says Fanny Smith.

Before today's victory, she equaled Ophélie David's record of 26 World Cup victories.

On the men's side, Reece Howden, Canada, won for the second day in a row.
