The Chinese U17 men's basketball team defeated the German team and won its first victory in the Mannheim Invitational Tournament. Zhang Boyuan, born in 2007, averaged 20.5 points and 5 rebounds per game and was selected to the best team.
The Chinese team is divided into Group B, and its opponents in the same group include Greece, Italy, Serbia, Egypt, and Germany. The U17 World Cup will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from June 29th to July 7th.
