A year ago, Charlotta Säfvenberg injured her knee.
When she was to make a comeback in the World Cup in Levi in Finland a month ago, the Swedish squad suffered a corona fall.
But now it's finally time when the world cup competition in slalom and giant slalom in Semmering is decided on Monday and Tuesday.
She has competed in the European Cup this December, but this will be the first in the World Cup.
- It was nice to make the premiere in the European Cup, and have it removed a bit.
It will of course be a little more special now with the World Cup, but it feels good, says Säfvenberg, she says to Västerbottens-Kuriren.
Got sick
However, Charlotta Säfvenberg's world cup comeback hung loose this time as well.
Shortly after the European Cup competition, she developed symptoms and was ill for a week.
Fortunately, it was "just" a common cold.
For Semmering, she first and foremost has the goal of qualifying for two rides.
- It has gone well in training, so I aim to go as well as I did in training.
Then of course I want to do two rides, she says
