Bai Yulu from the Dongguan Youth Billiards Association won the championship with a total score of 6:5. This is the first time the World Women's Snooker Championship has been held in China, attracting 46 players from 8 countries and regions.

The participating players include the world's number one player Nucharut Wangharuthai of Thailand, the defending champion Sripapon Nuantakanjan of Thailand and the 12-time Women's World Championship champion England player Renee Evans.
