The Egyptian Football Association addressed the CAF regarding the attendance of 10,000 spectators in the final match of the African Champions League, which brings together Al-Ahly and Zamalek on January 27, according to what was confirmed by the Egyptian Sada Al-Balad channel.

The Egyptian authorities had decided to transfer the final of the African Champions League from Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria to Cairo Stadium, after meteorological warnings of weather fluctuations that would be accompanied by heavy rain at the scheduled date for the match.

The African Union issued earlier in the establishment of the semi-final and final match of the Champions League without the presence of the masses due to the Corona pandemic that struck the world since last March.

The final of the African Champions League, which will bring together the two traditional rivals, is the first of its kind at the level of the African continent, which brings together two teams from one country.

Al-Ahly rose to the final match, at the expense of Moroccan Wydad, who won it 5-1 on aggregate, the home and away matches, while Zamalek defeated Morocco's Raja 4-1 on aggregate.
