The "Formula 1 - 2021" calendar includes a record number of races

The 2021 calendar for Formula One cars included a record number of 23 races, including Saudi Arabia, which will organize the Grand Prix for the first time, specifically on November 28 in Jeddah, despite the persistence of the new Corona virus.

Saudi Arabia has become the third Arab country to host Formula One races, after Bahrain (Sakhir Circuit) and the UAE (Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi).

On the other hand, the calendar did not include the Vietnam Grand Prix due to the suspension of the mayor of Hanoi on charges of corruption, but the date of April 25, which was originally scheduled to hold the last race, will remain in place, awaiting a new circuit to host it on this date, while the Brazil Grand Prix will be held at the circuit of Interlagos in Sao Paulo Not in Rio de Janeiro, where work has not yet started on the new circuit.

After this year's race in the Netherlands was canceled, it will be held this time on September 5 at the circuit of Zandvoort, noting that the Low Countries have not hosted any Formula One race since 1985. The 2020 season saw the number of races cut from 22 to 17, with the Mercedes driver at the top. Britain's Lewis Hamilton, the favorite for his seventh title, and the equivalent of the record set by the German legend Michael Schumacher
