On Friday 27 November, it's time for the length premiere in Ruka, Finland.

Therese Johaug starts another season as a big favorite after winning pretty much everything she put up in last year.

But one who managed to beat her was the Swede Frida Karlsson when she won the season finale, three miles in Holmenkollen, before Johaug.

And when it comes to that premiere, the Norwegian has previously spoken out and said that she believes Karlsson will win it.

- Now I have to take the opportunity to put some pressure on Frida.

Last year I was criticized for being too kind to them and taking care of them.

That is why I now say: Frida wins in Kuusamo (Ruka), Johaug has previously said.

"I'm probably in good shape"

When Johaug met the media again on Monday, she received new questions about the Swedish resistance that awaits - and again highlighted Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson.

- Sweden has a strong team.

They will go fast this winter.

They probably train very well and Frida and Ebba are probably in good shape.

They will be at the top this winter, she tells VG.

Johaug thinks it is good that Charlotte Kalla has regained faith in herself, but at the same time believes that it is the younger girls who will be the best among the Swedes this winter.

- Yes.

They are at an age where they are developing and can take big steps, says Johaug.

Call a joker

Norwegian national team coach Ole Morten Iversen has known Kalla since his time in the Swedish national team.

He also believes in the younger Swedes.

- It is obvious for the young people, Frida and Ebba, who have approached the top, he says.

But he also believes that Kalla can be a joker in the game.

- I am impressed with how she has stood up in adversity.

I will be surprised if she comes back to that level when she was at her best, but she can glimpse in occasional races.
