Umeå needed to take points in the tough away match against Kif Örebro to put pressure on the team just above the relegation line.

But the match at Behrn Arena was more or less decided at half time - to Örebro's advantage.

A lot was about Karin Lundin.

First, she made it 1-0 on penalties in the 18th minute, after a hand in the penalty area by a Umeå player.

Shortly afterwards, Freja Olofsson came 2-0.

And in the 30th minute it was time again for Karin Lundin, when she rolled in Örebro's third goal of the match and her eleventh goal of the season.

3-0 at half time, but Örebro were not happy there.

Umeå remains at the bottom

Umeå admittedly had a little more to say in the second half, but when it came to managing their chances, Örebro was still clinical.

Cali Farquharson and Nellie Lilja extended Örebro's lead to 5-0 and put the home team in a comfortable lead.

The home team also took the opportunity to let 16-year-old promise Emilia Pelgander into the match.

Umeå finally got a reduction - but has to recharge for two very important matches in the two final rounds against Djurgården and

Eskilstuna in search of a new contract.

But the chance lives on to the highest degree.

Right now, the team is in the relegation zone, on the same points as Piteå just above the relegation line, but with one match more played and worse goal difference.
