Botswana produced 59% of what Russia produced in diamonds, but its actual value amounted to approximately 5 billion dollars, i.e. one and a half times higher. The top 20 countries in terms of the value of diamonds in 2022: Russia: $3.55 billion, Angola: $1.96 billion.
