The Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimarães was sentenced to three games behind closed doors in the case of racist cries against Moussa Marega during a match against FC Porto in February, we learned from the authority against violence in sport.

Victim of insults and racist cries launched from the stands of the Vitoria stadium, his former club, the Franco-Malian born in Les Ulis, in the suburbs of Paris, had struck the spirits by leaving the lawn in the 71st minute of a match of the Portuguese Championship held on February 16 in Guimaraes (north).

Effective as soon as the public is re-admitted to the stadiums

In a decision dated October 20, the Authority for the Prevention and Combating Violence in Sport (APCVD) sanctioned the club with a fine of 55,000 euros and "three sports shows behind closed doors", as of moment when the public will be admitted again to the Portuguese stadiums.

In a context of health crisis, very uncertain, the Portuguese League has started to carry out tests to gradually increase the level of occupation of the speakers, but the matches behind closed doors remain the rule.
