Zamalek player Ferjani Sassi returns to Cairo after the negative Corona test

The Egyptian Football Club, Zamalek, announced the return of its Tunisian player, Ferjani Sassi, to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, from Morocco.

Today, Tuesday, the official website of the Egyptian club stated that the player had failed to return with the team’s delegation from Casablanca, after being subjected to quarantine after being infected with the emerging coronavirus, which causes Covid-19 disease.

He added that Sassi returned to Cairo, accompanied by the Moroccan Wydad team, who will face Al-Ahly, back in Cairo, after he underwent a new swab that confirmed his sample was negative, so that he could get out of quarantine.

Sassi missed Zamalek in the face of Moroccan Raja in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, which ended with the Egyptian team winning 1-0.
