The first half was even.

Hammarby stood out, often through Gustav Ludwigson and Aron Johansson, while Falkenbergs were most dangerous at free kicks when they lifted people up and created some half chances.

The best chance of the half was given to Hammarby's Mohanad Jeahze when he was given a free kick to the left in the penalty area after half an hour.

However, he shot straight at Falkenberg's goalkeeper Viktor Noring.

A couple of minutes later, Anton Wede got a dream hit when he thumped the ball in David Oused's right cross.

After Falkenberg's lead goal, Hammarby took hold of the game for a period, but without creating anything really dangerous.

Instead, the home team came back and created some solid situations.

In the last second of the half, Viktor Noring was forced to a nice foot parade on shots from Gustav Ludwigson.

Hammarby pressed

The second half started quite evenly but Hammarby took over more and more and was able to establish a pressure at times.

After a quarter, the equalizer came when Ludwigson took advantage of a failed offside trap and coaxed in 1-1 with the help of a Falkenberg defender.

After a few strong Falkenberg minutes, the guests took hold of the game again and Aron Johansson shot 2-1 rock hard on a pass from Alexander Kacaniklic.

In the end, the home team pressed harder and harder against Hammarby, which opened up for some dangerous counterattacks.

On one of them, Noring tore down Ludwigson and Aron Johansson fixed the final score 3-1 on a safely beaten penalty in the 93rd minute.
