Zahui has been given a bigger role in New York this season and against Minnesota she was the best player with 13 points and six rebounds.

But individual success is likely to be a small consolation. New York has started with five straight losses and is last in the league. A clear miscalculation.

- We will really be underdogs and I look forward to slapping everyone in the mouth a little quickly. Get that New York respect back and win matches, Zahui told SVT Sport before the season.

What can you expect from Liberty this year?

- We are better than we have been the last two years, so the playoffs are definitely on the map. We enter with a humble attitude because we are so young, but at the same time we are fearless.
