The Confederation of African Football (CAF) returned on Monday its decision to hold the semi-finals of the Champions League with the rally system in Cameroon after the meetings of its executive committee on June 30, to confirm the establishment of the semi-final matches with the system of return and return, which was originally approved.

The president of the Malagasy continental federation, Ahmed Ahmed, announced after the last meetings of the executive committee at the end of June, that the semi-final matches will be held in the Cameroonian capital Yaounde next September with a pool system, but the 60,000-seat Gaboma Stadium is no longer able to embrace these matches due to Corona pandemic.

Consequently, the African Union decided to hold the two semi-final matches between Al-Ahly and Al-Wadad Casablanca on the one hand, and the Egyptian Zamalek with Moroccan Raja Casablanca on September 25 and 26 in Egypt, and the return matches on October 2 and 3 in Morocco, according to a statement issued by it.

"The final match will be played on a neutral stadium if one team from Egypt and another from Morocco qualify. As for the final match between two teams from one country, it will be held in Morocco or Egypt on October 15 or 16."
