With the ATP tour on the break, world set Novak Djokovic and little brother Djordje Djokovic decided to start their own tournament in the Balkans. The Adria Summer Tour, with matches in four different cities in former Yugoslavia, has attracted world players such as Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem and Grigor Dimitrov and started this past weekend.

It was an early exit for Djokovic, who, despite Sunday's victory against seventh-ranked Zverev in Belgrade, was knocked out after losing to Filip Krajinovic. The government of Serbia recently released restrictions on public gatherings, and it was a noticeably taken Novak Djokovic who spoke in front of the 4,000 home supporters.

- I'm not crying because I didn't make it to the final. I'm just overwhelmed with emotion because it reminds me of my childhood, Djokovic said.
Serbia has 253 confirmed deaths in covid-19 and just over 12,000 infected.
