The Omani Football Association has contracted with Syrian coach Maha Soldiers to lead the women's football team who is preparing to participate in the Gulf Games scheduled in Kuwait next December.

Maha soldiers are the first football coach for a men's team in her country led by the Syrian provincial team last year, and she has many certificates from the Asian Football Confederation, and she joined her first training sessions in 2008 with FIFA, and in 2010 she underwent additional courses affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation. She won third place among 26 participants, and she was the only girl among them, and after that the AFC adopted her talent and subjected her to intensive courses for two years, to begin the training process as an assistant to the coach of the team of young women in the Syrian team, which she took over after that, then she trained the women's teams in Syria and reached to The women's team.
