Measurement of body temperature on match day and trips to matches in half-full buses. These are some of the details of the medical regulations that Swedish football a few weeks ago drew up for the all-Swedish and the super-elite.

Now it will be incorporated into daily operations.

It is a detailed document that has been produced by the men's football organization Swedish elite football (SEF) and the Swedish Football Association's medical committee, about how the series play in elite football harmonizes with the guidelines of the Public Health Authority.

Unlike, for example, the Bundesliga, sampling and quarantine are not required. Instead, it is up to the players themselves to fill out a form on the match day, where they state body temperature and if they suffer from various typical corona symptoms such as sore throat, cough or headache.

"If your body temperature is above 37.5 degrees or if you answered yes to any of the questions, you may not arrive at the stadium or the team's collection without first obtaining the approval of the club's physician," the document states.

"Togetherness and faith in the future"

“It is important to understand that the clubs within Sef (the Allsvenskan and Superettan) conduct professional activities and therefore cannot be equated with all other wide and amateur football in Sweden. The organizations have competent and trained health and medical personnel who can constantly monitor the operation of the business in an appropriate manner, ”the document states.

The medical regulations also include details such as encouraging outdoor tactics tactics and that trips to away matches should be done on buses that are only half full. The team must also arrive at the match arena at least 15 minutes apart.
