Media criticism of the media and the talent of the dog Shcherbakova

Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva criticized the media for the fact that many journalists took out of the context some phrases from a recent interview that she gave on Instagram. In particular, in it she talked about her transition to a Canadian specialist, Brian Orser, and also admitted that she sometimes feels lonely, because only the closest people can understand her. Of course, such topics could not fail to attract the attention of the press.

“I’m looking at journalists who have spread the innocuous broadcast to clickable headlines, turning the point,” Medvedev was surprised.

In part, Alexander Trusov may agree with the opinion of the two-time world champion. The other day, for the first time, she commented on the decision to begin cooperation with Yevgeny Pushchchenko. The skater explained his desire to move forward and thanked her former coaching staff led by Eteri Tutberidze. Trusova complained that the incident caused so many disagreements, and some even allowed themselves to offend her.

“Only in Russia, this question causes so many emotions, gossip, even accusations and insults. In other countries, as far as I know, this process is going more calmly. Emotions, probably, arise because in our country they love figure skating so much, ”Trusova said in an interview with Figureskating-online.

She was supported by the champion of the Universiade 2019 in ice dancing Betina Popova. According to her, in Russia it is impossible to leave a mentor without falling into a scandalous situation.

“Abroad - yes, everything there is connected by a contract, business relations. We do not have. Apparently, because of the Russian soul. Coaches give emotions to athletes, put their soul into it. From this, cares become painful, ”Sport24 quoted Popova as saying.

Meanwhile, the vice-champion of Europe 2020, Anna Shcherbakova, is unlikely to think about changing the mentor. Like the other skaters, she trains on self-isolation, and in the breaks between classes she participates in challenges. So, the athlete accepted the challenge of the captain of the Washington Capitals, Alexander Ovechkin. He invited everyone to speed up an exercise that simulates the work of an ice hockey player. His own result was 91 reps in 45 seconds. The skater managed to set a new record.

“I repeat the challenge of Alexander Ovechkin. I got 111 times in 45 seconds, but how much do you get? It’s not necessary to wear skates. And you can use any stick instead of a stick, just like mine, ”Shcherbakova said.

However, not only the skater herself, but also her pets are distinguished by her talents. She repeatedly showed how they make her company during training, and this time decided to demonstrate the unusual skill of her new pet, a dog named Sandy, who appeared recently in her family.

“He is always very restless and hyperactive. But if you start taking pictures of it and at the same time say "Sandii ...", then he tilts his head to the side and freezes. It seems to me that it is very cute, it looks funny, I can’t stop looking at it, ”Shcherbakova said.

Successes in the study of Tuktamysheva and Zagitova's daily routine

Another student of Tutberidze, Alena Kostornaya, combines training with study. She demonstrated how she does the splits using a stack of books as a support. In parallel, the reigning European champion is learning something on the tablet screen.

Due to the tight schedule, many athletes usually do not have enough time to study, and they have to prepare for important exams in between competitions. Therefore, self-isolation is a good time to fill the gap in your knowledge.

The 2015 world champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva shared the good news with subscribers. This year, the last year student of Lesgaft State University should defend her diploma.

“The face of the person who closed the semester! At last!" - said Tuktamysheva.

23-year-old student of Alexei Mishin is one of the oldest acting Russian figure skaters, but she admits that this never bothered her. Speaking about what she plans to do in ten years, Tuktamysheva noted that she is not afraid of 30 years of age. At the same time, she expressed confidence that after this milestone a person matures and becomes more interesting.

“I was also at some point afraid of this number. This is really the start of everything. You knee-deep sea. When you understand this, your whole life begins to play with new colors. You begin to enjoy and not be afraid of getting old, ”admitted Tuktamysheva.

Olympic champion Pyeongchang Alina Zagitova only has to feel all the delights of student life. In 2020, she graduated from high school and is preparing to pass the exam. During this period, the skater adheres to a strict schedule, which, however, does not differ much from her usual daily routine.

“I’ve been studying almost all day, in the morning I have training, in the evening in the afternoon - mathematics, biology. Day as usual - training, study. I get up almost every day at eight in the morning, even if there is no school or training. Somehow I taught myself to get up early, ”shared Zagitova.

In addition, she said that her favorite subject is mathematics, but she does not experience similar feelings about biology. At the same time, some time ago, a student of Tutberidze published a photo on which the exam textbook is visible in this particular discipline.

The "futility" of Gleichenhaus and the message of the daughter of Navka

Self-isolation is not easy for not only athletes, but also for coaches. And the point is not only in the absence of physical exertion, but also in the fact that they cannot do what they love. So, Daniil Gleichengauz, choreographer of the Tutberidze group, complained about his current situation.

“I feel complete uselessness for society. Without figure skating, the world does not need me. I listen to music, watch TV shows. I liked “The Last Dance” about Michael Jordan, ”Gleichenhaus admitted.

Other eminent representatives of figure skating amuse themselves by shooting funny videos. So, two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko pleased subscribers with a new video. He played a topical scene with his wife, music producer Yana Rudkovskaya, who allegedly drove out of the house because she sneezed. At the same time, a fragment of the cartoon about Winnie the Pooh was used as the voice acting.

Another famous skater Alexei Yagudin continues to tell subscribers about his dreams. First, he shot a comic video that he was dreaming of a vacation in Bali, then he shared his plans to go on vacation on the sea in June, but this time he “acquired” a convertible, which, however, turned out to be a children's toy.

So far, the Olympic champion of 2006 Tatyana Navka, who is in the hospital with coronavirus, is not joking. She has already reported that she is recovering and shared a photograph from the chamber on which the flowers are imprinted, as well as an instruction in what position she needs to lie.

In addition, the ex-skater published a touching video, which was recorded by her daughter Nadezhda. The girl read a poem about the family, devoting it to mom and dad (presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov is also undergoing treatment for COVID-19).
