Confined as each of his French compatriots, the northern skipper Thomas Ruyant will finally be able to get back to work. At 20 minutes , the sailor from Malo-les-Bains had already confided his impatience to find the sea. This will be done, Tuesday, with the release of his sailboat, LinkedOut .

The TR Racing teams will at least have taken advantage of this long period of confinement to complete the preparation and transformation of the Imoca on which Thomas Ruyant must set out to conquer the Vendée Globe. Structural reinforcements, improvement of interior ergonomics, mastery of on-board data, new foils… So many improvements that have been made to this sailboat which had participated in the Transat Jacques-Vabre under the name  Advens for Cybersecurity .

Tuesday will be the big day, since the beast will be released at the base of Keroman, in Lorient. "We can't wait to get back to the sea to finalize the development of these important winter changes on the water," said Laurent Bourguès, TR Racing's technical director, enthusiastically. For the skipper, this will be, with a few weeks late, the top start for his active preparation for the Vendée Globe.
