The Algerian newspaper, Al-Liqaa, revealed that the French star of Algerian descent and the current coach of Real Madrid team for Spain, Zinedine Zidane, donated 5 equipment for recovery, allocated to medical teams in the Algerian province of Bejaia, aimed at helping health teams treat patients with the "Corona" pandemic.

According to the newspaper, the Zinedine Zidane benevolence association, which is headed by the father of the French star, will ensure that this aid is provided to Bejaia, and that these benefits will be distributed to hospital establishments located in Bejaia.

The newspaper pointed out that the governor of Bejaia directed to contact Ismail Zidane, the father of Real Madrid coach, and thanked him for this initiative.

Zinedine Zidane, who led France to victory in the 1998 World Cup, is of Algerian descent, and is considered one of the most prominent global football stars who wore the No. 10 shirt, and he previously played in the elite clubs of the European continent, before he switched to the training profession, including his assumption of Two separate periods, training the Real Madrid team, and leading the Royal team to achieve several titles, most notably the seasonal European Champions League double (2016-2017) and (2017-2018), the last of which was the Spanish Super Cup in 2019.
