Defeat-tipped Otto Wallin early struck a huge wound above Fury's right eye when they met in Las Vegas last fall.

It bleed profusely from the wound and the ring doctor took a close look at the British. Had he chosen to stop the match in that situation, Wallin would have been awarded the victory on a technical knockout - and the night's superfight might have never been off.

- I hurt him on several occasions. Had I had more energy left, I could have stopped him, Wallin tells Sky Sports.

- I think I showed that Fury has flaws just like anyone.

"Should share the salary"

But the doctor let the match continue and Fury won on points.

- His experience was crucial. And he showed tremendous heart both in the match against me and when he rose from the floor in the first meeting with Wilder. For that, he deserves respect, says Wallin.

Tonight, Fury has the chance to be able to claim his World Cup again if he defeats American knockout machine Deontay Wilder.

"If Wilder opens up that wound again and wins the match, he should share his salary for me," Wallin jokes.

"Want to meet Fury again"

The 29-year-old Sundsvall son joins the ring again on March 28 in Las Vegas against former World Champion Lucas Browne, 40, from Australia.

Before the end of his career, he hopes to have the chance to challenge for a World Cup title.

- I work hard every day because one day I want to become a world champion. And of course I would like to meet Fury again. Before our cheating, I had only boxed a round of 18 months. Had I been a little warmer in my clothes, the outcome might have been another, Wallin tells Sky Sports.
