The biathlon is approaching with a leap forward and on Wednesday the races from Antholz begin. SVT Sport is a place to broadcast, but one important piece is missing: expert commentator Björn Ferry. Björn Ferry has for some time chosen flights as an alternative to means of transport and therefore moves from the home in Storuman to Antholz in the Italian Alps by train and bus.

"He just saw the train roll away"

The first stage of the trip was between Storuman and Umeå by bus, but the icebergs on the roads caused the former Olympic gold medalist to miss the train in Umeå.

- The accumulated emissions that made the winters milder in Norrland gave a terrible slip below Lycksele today. The bus simply could not continue. Too slippery. I managed to lift myself to Vindeln, change taxis and just had to see the train roll away, says Björn Ferry.

Now a minute drama is waiting in Copenhagen for the expert to reach the World Cup to comment on the mix relay on Thursday afternoon. Without delays, Ferry has 23 minutes to change trains in the Danish capital.

- If God is good, I can catch my scheduled train at 07.26 tomorrow and then be at 23 (in Antholz reds notice) on Wednesday evening, Ferry tells SVT Sport.

"I go train, even if it is fucking"

However, Ferry sees the problems with his chosen mode of transport as a necessary evil.

- Definitely a trial. As one of Greta's disciples, it takes saying that trains and buses often suck. But hopefully it is the same as with child rearing: They do not do as you say, they do as you do. And I go by train, even if it is fucking, ”concludes Björn Ferry.

The biathlon kicks off on Thursday 13 February with a mix relay from Antholz and can be seen in SVT 1 / Play. Everything that is commented on is run by Niklas Nord and Björn Ferry as an expert.
