Qatar's national football team regained its balance after losing to Iraq in the opening match of the current Gulf Cup 24 in Qatar.

Qatar scored their first three points in the group, finishing second only on goal difference against their UAE counterparts ahead of their important game in the final round of group games, which decides the second card to qualify from this group to the Golden Square.

The win gave Qatar the first qualification card from this group to the Iraqi team, while the result toppled the Yemeni team from the tournament after suffering the second defeat in a row and remained in the last place without points.

The Qatari national team ended the first half with two goals scored by Abdul Karim Hassan in the 29th and 37th minutes.

In the second half, Al-Moez scored the top scorer of the 2019 Asian Cup in the UAE - his first goal in the current edition of the Gulf championship in the 57th minute.

Abdul Karim Hassan completed his hat-trick with a fourth goal for the Qatari team from a penalty in the 72nd minute.
