Due to the development of low pressure in the south of Japan, the atmospheric conditions are unstable in the Ogasawara Islands, the Izu Islands, and the coastal areas of the Kanto region.

The Japan Meteorological Agency calls for strict caution against sediment-related disasters in Ogasawara Village, and calls for attention to severe gusts such as lightning strikes and tornadoes in the coastal areas of the Izu Islands and the Kanto region before noon on the 20th.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, there are two cyclones with fronts in the south of Japan, traveling east near the Ogasawara Islands and near the Izu Islands, respectively.

For this reason, the atmospheric conditions are unstable near the Ogasawara Islands, the Izu Islands, and the coastal areas of the Kanto region, and there are some developed rain clouds.

The Ogasawara Islands cannot be observed by radar, but the rainfall for 6 hours until midnight on Chichijima was 79.5 mm, and sediment disaster warning information was announced.

Regarding Ogasawara Village, the Japan Meteorological Agency has lowered the standard for releasing "earth and sand disaster warning information" to 80% in response to the earthquake that observed shaking with a seismic intensity of 5 or higher last month.

The Japan Meteorological Agency is calling for strict caution against sediment-related disasters in Ogasawara Village for a while.

Also, in the coastal areas of the Izu Islands and the Kanto region, we are calling attention to severe gusts such as lightning strikes and tornadoes before noon on the 20th.
