According to JR East, the Tohoku Shinkansen will be suspended from the first train on the up and down lines between Nasushiobara Station and Morioka Station due to the impact of the earthquake, and will resume as soon as safety is confirmed.
On the other hand, the up and down lines between Tokyo Station and Nasushiobara Station and between Morioka Station and Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station are reduced in number from the first train.
