Deputy US Attorney General has submitted his resignation: Rod Rosenstein said in a letter to US President Donald Trump that he will resign his post on May 11. The report US media and the news agencies Reuters and AP.

Rosenstein had supervised the investigation into the Russian affair. There have been repeated rumors since last year that he may be about to resign or be released.

Trump had criticized Rosenstein for his investigations repeatedly, he attributed the Deputy Minister a share of responsibility for his hardships in the Russian affair. Rosenstein had in May 2017, the former director of the Federal Police FBI, Robert Mueller, used as a special investigator to the affair.
