Donald Trump wants to hold the initiators of the investigation against him to account. Now that the summary of the Mueller report has relieved the US president of the allegation of conspiracy with Russia, he is now vigorously divulging his opponents.

"We've been through something, bad things are happening, and these people are sure to be watching," Trump said Monday in Washington. "I've been targeting her for a while now." He did not name the persons involved - but said that "a lot of people did very, very bad things".

Trump accused them of treason and emphasized: "They lied to Congress." The investigation against him was based on a "lying presentation". "We can never do that to another president again," Trump said.

Justice Secretary William Barr had released a four-page summary of the nearly two-year investigation on Sunday. In it Barr concludes that Special Investigator Robert Mueller has found no evidence that prove a cooperation of the Trump camp with Russia during the 2016 election campaign.

When assessing whether Trump was guilty of influencing the law, Mueller did not commit himself specifically. Trump himself, however, spoke of a "total relief" after his Minister of Justice had considered a follow-up not necessary.

A publication of other parts of the Mueller report on the four-page summary, he was open to face. "It is the decision of the Minister of Justice, but it would not bother me at all."

Leading Congressional Democrats demanded the publication of the full report. So far, they failed with their plans. Republic Senator Mitch McConnell blocked Monday a second attempt by the Democrats to get the Minister of Justice published.
